My Story
I was born in Miami, Florida but moved to the Tampa Bay area to go to school. After many years, my husband and I moved to the Ft. Lauderdale area. We live with our cat, Ragnar Lothbroke, who totally relates to my husband and only tolerates me because I pet him.
I am truly a South Florida girl. While I am certainly awed by and connect to mountains and forests, my heart belongs to the sea. Painting is a welcome balance to my very enjoyable, but very left-brained, job and my corresponding and often overwhelming tendency to want everything to be symmetrical, controllable and understandable. Art, for me, is a way to float with life and discover wonderful and alternative ways to look at the world.
